Overall Impression: Jazz musician Pablo Embon has released the new original tune Train of Thoughts. True to its name, Train of Thoughts flows forward and has a knack for the unexpected. The piano introduction gives the impression of an emotionally-charged Pop tune, but is soon replaced by a Smooth Jazz groove and sound. This all happens relatively seamlessly and eventually gives way to the terrifically catchy primary melody. It works over several different textures and floats with ease above the groove. As the tune progresses, a scat-vocal and blistering guitar solo are sat side by side and make the listener double check that the track hasn't been changed. They are both quite effective at adding intrigue, and give Train of Thoughts an undeniably unique character. All in all, Train of Thoughts by Pablo Embon is a very fun Instrumental Jazz listen that keeps the listener on their toes.

Strongest Point(s): There are plenty of strong points with Train of Thoughts. The instrumental work is executed with ease, and the groove is solid. What stands out the strongest though, are the ever changing textures and musical ideas. This track has the feel and form of a stream of consciousness-type of tune. There is always something new being introduced, and it is well done.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of Instrumental Jazz, Fusion, and Smooth Jazz will dig Train of Thoughts by Pablo Embon.
