Song Review: Pablo Embon - Future Regrets

Overall Impression: Scintillating harmonic flair meets fascinating melodic forays in Pablo
Embon's tantalizing jazz fusion track "Future Regrets", an instrumental masterclass in exciting
musical expression that bears both tremendous depth and creative finesse. "Future Regrets"
offers plenty in the way of enthralling technical virtuosity and compositional elegance, providing
listeners with an abundance of rhythmic variety, dazzling melodic exuberance, and harmonic
excitement from start to finish, ensuring you're kept well and truly compelled throughout, and
whether you're a fan of fusion based styles or not, there is something particularly special about
Pablo's music that many an aspiring musician will find undeniably inspirational.

Strongest Point(s): The performances are sublime and showcase a stunning amount of
technique alongside an immense amount of both taste and feel. The engaging interplay
between the various instruments is what gives "Future Regrets" a strong feeling of momentum
and Pablo's attention to melodic detail is most certainly prevalent throughout - combine this with
the exploratory nature of the always intriguing harmonic elements that underpin "Future
Regrets" and you have a free-flowing piece of music that isn't afraid to take a number of
calculated musical risks throughout its fascinating journey, ensuring listeners are being
continually presented with one exciting and irrefutably fresh sounding idea after another. Pablo
fascinatingly draws from many distinct styles and it is this particular element that allows the
composer to effectively forge his own unique sound, combining elements from jazz, rock, funk,
and even latin-esque styles to create a refreshing fusion sound that is always inventive and
forever smooth-sounding with regard to its flawless execution.
Target Audience Appeal: "Future Regrets" is a fascinating piece of jazz fusion and I'm sure it
will greatly appeal to lovers of the genre.
