Overall Impression
"Here, There and Everywhere" is an exciting and innovative new work from accomplished jazz artist Pablo Embon. This piano-driven instrumental composition incorporates elements of folk and world music, and features a shifting afrobeat-style groove that's primarily played on snare rims and metallic percussion, while being firmly grounded by warm electric bass and acoustic rhythm guitar. Sweeping strings carry the melody through the main theme, and are followed by a magical middle section that showcases exquisite harmonic textures and expressive individual solo performances, before culminating in an explosive finish that's highlighted by lively brass flourishes. Pablo Embon's "Here, There and Everywhere" is sure to thrill and delight contemporary jazz lovers of all sorts, particularly those with a penchant for global fusion.

Strongest Point(s)
Outstanding production, excellent mix. Nice full sound. Fantastic arrangement and song structure, great dynamic shape. Wonderful percussion and beat design. Great bass tone, love the little delay effect on the hang between sections. Strings sound amazing, great orchestration and arranging. Gorgeous guitar tone in the solo. Brilliant textures and coloring through that entire middle section, nice harmonic push and pull. Great horn riffs on the final pass. The groove really hits its peak in those final moments, almost sad to hear it end. All in all, this is an incredible composition and a stellar track that blends a lot of different elements into a truly compelling sound and unique style. Exceptional work here, from top to bottom!
